    Nice win by Tsuchiya and the AE86!

    What made the 86 an Eco car on this particular race?

    Surprisingly little really. The engine was rebuild by Tech-Art. The internals are largely stock but have some porting work has been done to make the car more efficient. The injectors were balanced to each other, and a dashboard switch enables the TVIS to stay closed under all conditions for better fuel economy. Idling fuel consumption is improved with ISCV. And then it has an electric fan and electric PS.

    I wonder why it has those crappy tires though…
