Just a quick drop to say it runs and it’s awesome. There are still some bugs to sort out (fault 21 and 33) as well as a few details to look after (oil cooler lines, vacuum mess and finalizing the wiring harness), but I’m damn happy. I actually got it all put back together yesterday, and then suffered a few agonizing hours of starting and dying. Surprisingly, my diagnostic experience was good enough to quickly trace it to two MAP sensor wires on the wrong pins. Werd.
My Drift wood is too big though, or at least demands 9J shoes.
Details of the swap will be logged over the winter. Right now… I really really wanna drive. Even bought a new helmet and registered to drive Ryan’s SW20 for the Canadian National Autoslalom Championship
