We took the kids to see Great Grandma over the weekend, and were amazed to find that she still has toys left over from my childhood, and even my Mom’s childhood. They included a number of scarey one eye’d dolls, and sticky plastic figures that were seemingly starting to biodegrade. They also included one Matchbox Lamborghini Muira, which I thought was the coolest thing ever. My uncle’s growing up in swamp town northern Saskatchewan knew about Weber 3BBL down drafts, limited slip differentials and rack and pinion steering?? Probably not, but I bet they knew it didn’t sound like the Allis Chalmers outside.
