Still don’t want to bail on AE86 life… but it’s really hard to justify it. We got guys selling rusty AE86’s with a few mods for 6500$. The heck is that???

So I verbally committed to buying something else… and I probably would own it today, if I hadn’t gotten pneumonia and confined myself to my own house.
Really… even some cheaper AE86’s hardly seem worth it. I buy a stock rust free SR5 for 1k… put one of the 4age’s I have lying around into it for free… but I’ve still got close to 5k into it before it’s something I really want to drive. Shocks, LSD, wheels, tires… and that just seems ridiculous.
I can’t justify it.
That said… my lust and desire is falling. I think… if it wasn’t for the fact that pretty soon I’m going to loose my work truck due to snow, and as a result Yoshiko and I will need a two cars so that she is not absolutely confined to our rural home during the day… I wouldn’t buy anything.
