Sunday was a special day. I may end up celebrating with a long drive through the mountains… I’ll say more later.
Recent auto-x results have shown me something… all this improving I thought I’d done, really didn’t happen. My 2nd overall PAX at my first event back was a fluke. I’ve been DFL… or at least close to it, at recent events. Cones, Cones and Cones. Scratch times are definitely fast, but I don’t have enough control to get through it penalty free. So I guess… my target for the time being is just to put a reasonable time in without penalties. Somehow that seems less interesting than a scratch time challenge.
All these things in mind… I’ve lost any interest in drifting I had at the beginning of the year.
