Nothing

centerconsoleThere isn’t really any content here.  This past week has been spent looking at details: things like gauge mounting, learning turbo plumbing, vacuum and engine lubrication… and why my first start attempt never actually started.  The downpipe is on and fitting good, although it took a 5 pound sledge to get a safe distance off the firewall, and Dave Coleman’s slit trick to get it further off the frame rail.  My first attempt at bleeding brakes was killed by a seized bleed screw, a new caliper has since been ordered and installed.  The harness for my Innovate Wideband was much too short and as a result I was forced to remove the heater core (again), break out the hole saw and hack up an old wiring harness, to create a new access point through the firewall.

These are little details that are slowing me down… but the car is actually only minutes away from being road worthy.  Once it’s all together I hope to document the details a little better here.
