This is why I bought what I did. Welcome to winter. It actually feels better on a snow covered highway than it does on bare asphault.

I’ve got a line on some 50mm inverted 8.5″ travel WRC struts that are BRAND NEW old stock. A little scarey, but they are CHEAP. Thank you Japan. I’ll have to build some strut casings and coilovers for them. Should be and all done for like $500 easy. CHEAP.
Shifter doesn’t feel great. Gonna try new bushings as well as a tranny flush. It’s temperature dependent which makes me a little nervous. Good when cold. Notchy when hot.
Summer project will be to strip it down a bit. I found out my AC lines to the heater core are leaking. That seems like a good excuse to pull like 100lbs of ugliness out from under the hood, but if this becomes a summer daily too then I’ll probably have to fix it. I’m also looking at power steering with disdain. I know this is no 850kg AE86 but… I really want it to be.
