We stopped at the Speedtech Show and Shine and Summer Sale yesterday. Speedtech still does it best. Great shop. Toma was there with his dyno and we we strapped Ryan’s SW11 down for a few runs. How does 300.9hp sound? Pretty good to me.

So, is that corrected to get an engine power figure? Or is that actual WHEEL HP? Either answer is pretty impressive.
yeah that’s whp… with 280 +lbft of torque too, albeit at a more aggressive boost level than usually run.

Awesome. When Randy Noll swapped to 3SGTE from a V6, I assumed it was the wrong move. I thought, “isn’t displacement always better for SM?”. Well, i guess not with the choices available to an MR2. You’re really only stuck with 1MZ and 3SGTE. One of them requires a lot of custom and unchartered territory to get to 300whp. The other has been there regularly.
