Little things are getting done, but I’m still waiting for a few critical pieces: MAP and AIT sensors… as well as an ECU. The mechanical bits are largely in place though. You’ll notice the coil mounted on the bulkhead, distributor tucked in a nice box, a header peaking over the valve cover and of course some open stacks. If you’re keen, you might even notice my home made catch can. It’s actually pretty awesome, and I don’t regret not spending $100 on a shiny one at all. I’ve always feared wiring, and as much of a mess as my existing harness was/is, getting things in order has been surprisingly relaxing and enjoyable. I’ll eat that when it doesn’t actually run of course…
Also waiting for an oil cooler and sandwich plate; that after it appears someone scammed me out of $100 for the same bits. Shitty, but I’m so stoked that I barely remember. I really like my car right now. That’s pretty surprising given that it doesn’t even run. Maybe I actually hated being turbocharged that much…
Everyone knew that open stack 5v is what QR was always about.
I’m glad you’re up to speed.
Haha, turbo.
Dear Q,
Will you make it to an event this summer, no matter the discipline?
Randy
93% not. New children and the complications that go with that… plus a few more.
