Picked up the GZ20 Toyota Soarer on Saturday from Christian at ImportConcern. Look for a description on a project page soon. Still have to clear the red tape to get the the car inspected for Out-Of-Province but I am hopeful that I will have it done this week.
So far, all we’ve noticed is that the car wasn’t sitting level because the coilovers have been moved a couple time in the last 2 weeks, the alternator belt started squealing, and that the left rear tire has 2 degrees more camber then the right. Everything but the alignment problem has been fixed and that will get done with the OOP Inspection. The chiming over 105kph is fucking driving me nuts. Apparently some people think this is cool but they obviously don’t have a car that does it. The RHD thing hasn’t turned out to be a problem, I actually quite enjoy something different. Makes going to the corner store a treat. I’m sure the novelty will wear off and I’ll have the car FOR SALE in a couple months but hey…
