Toyota Museum in Toyota City

Arrived in Hamamatsu, and met Yoshiko:s immediate family, and some of her distant family. My ability to speak Japanese may have improved, but listening to full speed Japanese is still a major stress. I guess now I can understand how Yoshiko felt in Canada.

Japanese keyboard is different… and I:m using some archaic form of notebook that can:t even wrap text. \times are tough.

I:m just happy to be with Yoshiko. We:re holding a wedding shower tomorrow, for close to 70 people… the idea of this, right now… is a little bit overwhelming.

I:ve got a major craving for a real \canadian meal… bread, pasta, chicken… that:s not to say I:m not eating my fill here, but… fish and rice and the same vegatables becomes boring.

Peanut butter and jam would be amazing.

Somehow, Hamamatsu is a real hashirya city… there are hot cars all over the place, and out of courtesy for Yoshiko, I:ve been doing my best not to drool and oogle everywhere.

After driving tight city roads, and parking areas, I:m a huge k-car fan. 86 seems like a midsize to big car here. I think about \suzuki alto works, diahatsu move and the like.

Yoshiko took me to the toyota museum yesterday, which was great. I took some pictures. What a difference in build and layout… you see in the big money corporations versus the smaller ones.

If you have money in Japan… you buy space. I felt like I was in \canada again…

No 86 present at the museum… but I did pick up the final hyper rev volume for ae86.
