Yah. Stuff’s here. Now we’ll see if I can actually make anything out of it. From the compressor outlet to the throttle body will be 2 inch, while the AFM into the compressor and the downpipe will be 2.5 inch. I bought a tubing cutter this time, and am looking forward to not using a messy grinder!
I think about aesthetics so much… that I wonder about adding extra bends just to make things more pretty. Seems silly, because more bends means worse flow, more cutting and more welding. (More ugly ass welding, which will probably spoil aesthetics anyways.) The HKS I’m trying to clone functionally, looks really nice with the intake tubing running horizontal along the front of the timing cover. That requires a couple of 90 degree bends in close proximity to each other, where as putting that tubing on a negative slope pulls one of those 90’s out. Not as good looking IMO, but much shorter and minus one sharp bend.
Take that cutter back, I have one!
dammit. Every penny counts. I should be sending you more texts.
