I feel like pinstripes are an entirely American style. That said… this AE86, on my hard drive from like 1998 is HOT. I can’t imagine that it is original… and it’s probably a little ricey for a STOCK AE86… but I like it and if my car wasn’t two tone I might be there. I was obviously in love with the car at the time too… because I saved every picture I could find of it. Picture name’s label it as “Chris from Norcal’s AE86.” I love how it wraps around the hatch above the taillights.
It should be entirely obvious that this is from a completely different era of AE86 tuning. Back then… pretty much the only guy with JDM bumpers was Moto-P. Supra wheels were considered a valid upgrade, and our the only commonly available suspension parts were Eibach springs and Tokiko shocks. Even I… as much as I dwell on the past… realize that it often SUCKED!
But those pinstripes…
