Offers on the 86 this week… but… again I couldn’t pull the trigger. I haven’t even been watching InitialD or Best Motoring lately. So… imagine what could happen if I did? I guess I’m keeping this car. That could be a choice with major consequences. Maybe it won’t even get on the road this year. I think that’d be alright.
This activity had me thinking about it. Thinking that I could actually be driving it when I get back from Japan. I wanted to give it some attention before then. Fix the speedo, check out the rear end whine… and a couple other little things that bother me, but aren’t a deal really. I drove out to the place where it’s being stored… but didn’t realize until I got there, that I had forgotten my keys, and all the other things I needed to get into the car and make it run. Oops.
The simple sight of it though… was enough. Wow I love that car.
For it to be practical… I need to do a little bit of a detune. Soften up the springs (probably to 6/4), get some less aggressive wheels and tires so that I can run fender liners again, and install a seat with sliders so that my beautiful girl can drive it too. That’d be sweet I think…
But she’s probably not so keen.
While I’m at it… maybe I’ll throw that supercharger on… even if I run it with the NA pulley, 6psi and the stock ECU with some deceit. Is that cool?
I dunno… why do I want to go fast? I don’t really… so maybe I’ll just keep it all stock and simple.
