I had to make up for my heavy weight shift knob somehow.
It needs a bit of clean up still, but the scale says I’m down more than 1700grams. That’s more than 3 shift knobs! I’ve got a pile of stuff to sandblast; this will go in that pile too and we’ll see how many more grams I can knock off that way… or if I can fold it in half like a taco.
This is part of a new look that doesn’t include my rear spoiler… or Toyota’s gaudy license plate lights. It also doesn’t include 24″ tall tires, but considering how much I drive that will take a little time to activate.
I see 2 hole saw sizes. Or did you use more?
Just two. I actually had three, but broke one bit. I found that the curved surface actually required a pretty strong hand. I also broke three centering bits. Not really fun, if someone local made carbon or Frp lids I would have bought one. Shipping charges make it no contest.
