Final Scenes – II 1

懐かしい気持ち。

Still working on moving on. Some lessons learned:

  1. Be a man. Be like a truck. Carry things. Get shit kicked. Be ugly… but comfortable and dependable.
  2. Never sell that truck. Sometimes life is easy enough for sports cars… but then…

This 22RTE truck was mine at a time between marriage and adult money. It was ragged and hacked, drank almost as much 5W30 as it did 87 Octane. My wife never rode in it… at least not in the cab.

I sold it for four times what I paid for it. That is still regrettable.

This is how powerful nostalgia is:
I rank this as the best vehicle to have ever been in your stable.

I don’t think I even ever saw it?! But because it resembles Marty McFly’s truck (Not even, yours is Turbo and not SAS), I love it!
