Just Being Rebellion 8

Cold weather hit and I find myself on the internet in the evening, as opposed to out in the barn… where I’ve actually been spending a lot of time lately, albeit mostly with other peoples cars.  My brief web browsing however, took me to a number of AE86 galleries where I could see… my OWN car.  At least that’s the way it looked under quick scrolling.  It was pretty retarded actually.  A lot of them were even red under the hood like me, and a couple were even sporting matching gay Wannabe Wed MA86s.  It’s quite a piss off for an OG like me.

Furthermore… this “FLUSH” movement has finally been played so many times that I’m sick of hearing it.  There is no doubt that 9J -15 looks awesome.  AWESOME.  But when you make it a contest of how big you can go… it’s gets just about as dumb as EK’s rolling around in the mid 90’s on 19’s and 20’s.  …Just about.

Creating so called “FLUSH RANKINGS” however… puts it over the top.  Hellaflush, Almost Hellaflush and Mexi Flush?  WTF… is this an actual thing?  Sorry guys… cars for me has always been about the experience and performance… and I’m sad that I’ve mislead you with my own wheel obsessions.

And that obsession is what has prompted this… because somehow by trying to be unique I’ve fallen in with everyone else again.  I guess I’ve really fallen that far OTB.

I’m going narrow again.

I wish my fenders weren’t pulled.

I’ll throw my MKII’s up for sale.  I wasn’t even trying to be FLUSH with them… but as a stereotypical kyusha wheel they throw off that vibe.  I want something you haven’t seen before.  I don’t know what it is, because even I haven’t seen it yet.  It might even be 6J +6…

Big Wheels actually ruined drifting. Fun Drifting... shitting digital cameras.

<barf> really!?

I think so… I don’t know how I’ll pull it off… but I’ll find a way.

alright, agreed fitment may have been done over and over again, but their is a reason for this, flushish just looks proper, and to have a nice looking wheel that fits well is a given, now to have those mkIIs fitting well is still cool and unique …don’t sell you will regret! Or I might have to buy them and rattle can them black or something 🙂 ..that said, it sure is nice sporting Supras and Sportmaxes and not having to worry about folks wanting to pinch them or whacking a curb or running over some other obstruction etc.

Though you may not worry costwise, the thing with SportMaxes is that they may not survive a curb! 🙂

that’s sort of the point really, if wheel does not survive, cost or replacement is cheaper than fixing likely, and I won’t be bound to buying a full set ($128 each at my local hot rod shop).
