Reflections Drifting

Some afterthoughts from Crab Migration…

I was too hard on myself. Event photo’s tell a story I’m proud of. The car needs some work… and I can always improve, but it’s not like I did nothing. In fact… this was the first time I really used the e-brake well. The corner in question had a 3rd gear entry… about 120km. Feint left with a clutch kick and then turn back had with another kick and long slide down to middle second gear. To keep angle on entry, I finally had success with the e-brake. It’s always been an awkward thing to me, between clutching in and not pulling hard enough, or pulling too hard, and then getting back on the gas. That day though… in my brief time alone on the track I went from clutch kick to ebrake to clutch kick to e-brake holding a loonger slide on entry than ever before. I credit it to watching many hours of Drift Tengoku.

Coming In Fast

I love drifting.

I’m really exhausted though. SCN is this weekend, and I’ll be there with the STRD guys. Fish Emulation is next Thursday, and pretty soon CSCC auto-x is up and running. I want my new shoes. I wish I had more money.

If you want to buy my car, email me. I’m toasted. You know what it’s all about if you read this site. I want a new BMX, I want to play video games all night long, Even if I can drive, I’m not cut out to be a drift hero. I’ll reserve that position for the horse. I want to wear a bandana with 5 days of grit on my face and drive a Impuls’.
