Trailer Park Paradise 1

I live on an acreage.

I live on an acreage with about a 1/4 acre sized pond on it.

In the winter we play hockey. It’s sweet.  In 2004 after Calgary was nearly washed away by the BOW… we had a legitmate regulation sized rink.  This winter it doesn’t look like the ice surface will be that big.  Hockey will still be good… but I have other ideas.

I’m pretty sure it’s the best idea I’ve had in a long time.

This isn’t mine… but it’s inspiration. 

I’ve actually been researching and scheming pretty hard over the last few days.  Even found a perfect lawnmower to convert but had it snapped out from under me… meh.

Just consider a perfectly smooth surface with snow bank barriers… screws protruding through tires and a pyloned course on the ice.  There really won’t be any reason to go to rally-x with Andrew… although I do suspect my neighbours won’t be entirely happy.

But I can’ t resist.

It’ll be good fun for Hinata in time too… and I have a young nephew now as well.  (perfect justification with wife).

Don’t imagine some racer type kart though.  I’ll save my money for the some race type rubber for the AE86 and Jeep goodies. 

Actually if it costs me a little bit of money, but I can duplicate the “OFF ROADER” from Mario Kart.  I’m there.
