Fast cars are good looking cars. Not because good looking cars are fast, but because ugly cars are slow. Keep in mind of course that looks are subjective, and there is nothing preventing the prettiest car in the world from being an AW11 MR2… in your eyes. It feels like I’m BSing you but I’m not.
After a hard days work, if what greets you in the garage is flakes of rust, mutilated chassis and floppy sausage exhaust it’s so much easier to just turn the lights off and go put filler on your website. But if what greets you is clean and at least in appearance right, then it’s so much easier to find reasons and motivation to get things “perfect”. You can only happily come home to a cow of a wife for so long… even if she is on a diet.

Its true tho, I had an ugly car, I hated it, even though it worked well I couldnt bring myself to improve it.
My car is NO WHERE near perfect, but, I get stoked on it cause it looks well used and thoughly enjoyed
ummm… it’s pretty, but as you know… not perfect. I like working on it. I was thinking about the car I had prior… and a few other things that sometimes visit the garage.
