Past Projects

In the fall of 2001 Ryan and I started assembling and modifying cars together.  All started in different forms, some from scratch, others from near full build requiring only tweaking and tuning.  Nevertheless, all of these cars have been ours… we have a tendency to go through a lot:  lots that never even made mention here, and some that I spent hours writing and thinking about.  It is some form of A.D.D…. really.  In the first few years after we teamed up, neither of us managed to make it through a single season with one car.  They came and went. Mostly it was because we liked to dream, but it was also partly because there was always someone willing to buy.  Cash just looks so good.

Note: These charts are for fun.  Don’t confuse them for us being hard core and bad ass.  Check it out.

OK… so there is nothing going on at the website… but in my garage there is LOTS going down.  One late season auto-x missed… and I have no regrets.  Fall car life is once again pretty much how it should be.  I am overwhelmed by memories of the past every step I take, crunching leaves from my back door to […]

I Call This Look…

Look!  No booster.  It’s really easy… I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner.  Although, I still have no idea how it actually feels.  I guess I’ll add more details later on.  Total cost so far though… 0$.  Although I’ll pick up some studs and press them into the plate rather than using a nut and bolt.  Everything else… […]

A New Feeling

We got just a skiff of snow this weekend, and that was enough to lock me into my plan of ending the season and preparing for next.  It seems a little pre-mature, but if I’m honest, auto-x had gotten a bit boring and I find it pretty hard to justify $150 for a morning of drifting at a horrendous venue.  […]

Snow

This is supposed to be my favorite time of year.  It’s frosty morning drives, vertically challenged hill climbs, beyond.ca drift nights and quiet nights in the barn.  It’s not quite working out that way… and maybe as a result of that I’m already thinking about 2011.  I have moments of big dreams and fantastic accomplishments, but am typically brought back […]

Bai Bi 2010?

3

Wow… it’s actually a little hard for me when I look at it like this.  The BC is dead and will be buried soon enough.  We had thought about keeping this car and transforming it into what I believe would have been an FSP MONSTER.  Ultimately though, one project is enough for me and rustic [qr]garage.  Trails or aura and […]

Bai Bi BC

Today I realized how my car has actually gotten faster. It wasn’t the injectors or the 02 sensor… it was the stickers. At the beginning of the season the car was naked, and I’ve been doing my best to resist, but it’s slowly collecting vinyl and plastic. The one on top, if you don’t read Japanese, says Carland.  Carland was […]
